Food supplement
Natto is a traditional soy food eaten in Japan for more than 1,000 years. It is made by fermenting cooked soybeans with a particular strain of Bacillus subtilis var. natto. During fermentation the bacteria multiply and produce the enzyme nattokinase. Nattokinase was once obtained from natto extract; today it is produced using non-GM Bacillus subtilis var. natto grown on non-GM soy.
Grape (Vitis vinifera) seed extract. Grape seed extract contains natural bioflavonoids such as proanthocyanidins and catechins.
Jiaogulan (Gynostemma pentaphyllum) is a vine that grows in the mountain forests of China. Its main constituents are saponins — natural organic compounds (glycosides).
Composition: natto extract, grape seed extract, jiaogulan extract, gelatine.
How to use: 2–3 capsules 1–2 times a day, with warm water.
Increase the dose gradually: 1 capsule a day in the first week, adding one more capsule each week if needed.
Note: take care if you are also using conventional blood-thinning medication (aspirin or similar).
